ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. — A third suspect who was sought in connection with a Ruffin home break-in has been arrested.

Roger Dale Nester, 19, was arrested Monday night in Danville, Va. in connection with the June 12 break-in that happened on Lick Fork Creek Road.

Nester is accused of breaking into the home with Troy Alan Owen, 21, and Kelly Rayna Taylor, 23.  A 13-year-old boy was inside the home at the time of the break-in, but he hid under a bed while the suspects went through the house removing items.

Owen and Taylor were arrested last Thursday night after authorities in Caswell County searched their home at 1110 Newnam Road in Pelham and found several of the stolen items.

Detectives with the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office are expected to file additional charges against the three suspects due to other stolen items that were found during the search.

From the Ruffin break-in, the suspects allegedly took a 50” LG brand flat screen TV, a 32” Magnavox brand flat screen TV, a Samsung EX2 cellular phone, an XBOX 360 video game console, a Nintendo Wii video game console and four rings.

Nester is currently being held by authorities in Virginia pending his extradition back to North Carolina.
