LENOIR, N.C. — Police are looking for a thief accused of breaking into a North Carolina family’s home and stealing all their Christmas presents.
WSOC-TV reported that it recently happened to Larry Robinson and his family in Lenoir. The suspect is accused of breaking through a glass window.
Robinson said he put an entire paycheck toward the gifts for his 10- and 6-year-old nephew and niece and he may not be able to replace them.
Robinson was at work when the break-in happened this weekend. When he got home and spotted the blood on the floor, he immediately checked on the presents — which included an Xbox and other toys for the children — and found they were missing.
“You should be extremely ashamed of yourself. Extremely ashamed,” Robinson said of the burglar. “You’re going to ruin some kids’ Christmas.”
Robinson said he only recently purchased the toys. He said the Grinch didn’t even give him a chance to wrap the presents.
