DAVIE COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies are looking for two men accused of breaking into a home, stealing several items and holding a woman at gunpoint Saturday in Davie County.
Officials said the suspects entered a house in the 200 block of Brentwood Drive in Farmington Township around 10 a.m. while the homeowner was at work.
They allegedly took guns, tools and personal property.
Deputies said a housemaid arrived shortly later and was confronted by the men in the driveway. The suspects allegedly forced her inside at gunpoint and told her to open a safe.
When she was unable to open it, the men allegedly forced her into a small area under the staircase.
Officials said the suspects stayed for about two more hours, trying to open the safe and searching for items.
Deputies said they also broke into the housemaid’s car and took money from her purse. They allegedly told her they had her ID and threatened her if she told anyone.
Officers were called and arrived at the home around 12:52 p.m.
Deputies said video footage has captured the suspects stealing. Images of the suspects are provided above and below.
The suspects’ vehicle is described as a black Dodge Nitro RT with tinted windows.
