Suspects arrested after string of break-ins in the Abbotts Creek area

HIGH-POINT, N.C. — Davidson County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested and charged two men that are believed to be responsible for a string of break-ins between June 8 and June 14.

On Tuesday, deputies arrested Christopher Smith, 33, of 509 Steele Street,  and Antonio Posey, 22,  of 124-A Underhill Street, after receiving information about the break-ins from the community.

Posey and Smith were charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering, and related charges.

Both men received a $275,000 secured bond and have a court date of July 30.
