Suspect sought for robbing Greensboro Wells Fargo bank

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are searching for a suspect in connection with a Monday afternoon bank robbery.

At 3:22 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the Wells Fargo bank, located at 308 Pisgah Church Road, in reference to a robbery.

The clerk was approached inside the business by a single suspect who stated that he had a weapon and demanded money, Greensboro police said.

The suspect fled the business with an undetermined amount of money in an unknown direction and was last seen on foot, according to police.

No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect was described as a black male who is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and was wearing blue and white plaid shorts and a dark green jacket.
