Suspect sought after baby killed in hit-and-run in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are searching for a man in connection with a fatal hit-and-run Saturday morning.

A warrant for felony hit-and-run has been issued for Guillermo Ortega-Tolentino, 41, of Greensboro, according to a news release from Greensboro police.

An 18-month-old baby died after being hit by a pickup truck backing out of a driveway Saturday morning in Greensboro, according to police.

Amariani Doris Pulliam was pronounced dead at the scene by Guilford County emergency workers.

The incident was reported at about 10:10 a.m. at 1603 McKnight Mill Road and involved a 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup truck.

Authorities said the truck left the scene, headed south on Summit Avenue and was later found abandoned in another location.
