LEXINGTON, N.C. — One of the two men wanted for murder in connection with a deadly assault at a Lexington gas station turned himself into police without incident Monday.
Quadarius Shaquille Kirkland, 23, was wanted for the murder of 24-year-old Christopher Eason. Kirkland is being held without bond in the Davidson County Jail.
Eason died at North Carolina Baptist Medical Center on April 14 from injuries he sustained in a violent assault.

A male victim, later identified as Eason, sustained life-threatening injuries in an assault and was found lying in the parking lot of the gas station, according to Lexington police.
Eason was initially transported to Lexington Medical Center, then airlifted by AirCare to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
