STOKES COUNTY, N.C. -- It's now been 11 days since anyone saw a Stokes County man.

Billy Gray Anders, 48, was last seen on the evening of Oct. 7 after having dinner with his wife and children at Frank’s Pizza in Rural Hall, according to investigators and family.

"He was suppose to pick our 15-year-old up in Pilot Mountain after dinner," said Anders' wife Patty. "That was the night the storm was coming and he was in a car with one wiper and one headlight."

Anders says her husband suffers from a number of medical issues and needs daily life-saving medication which he has been without. Anders says their youngest children, who adore their father, don't understand their father is missing but are what is keeping her strong.

"I'm trying to hold it together, I don't want them to see me too upset."

Anders was driving a dark green 1999 Ford Escort with damage to the left headlight with North Carolina tags BLR-1564.

Anyone with information on Anders’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office at (336) 593-8787.
