MEADOWS, N.C. - A dusting to half an inch of snow fell in Stokes County Tuesday evening. Most of the snowfall happened in the western and northwestern part of the county.
"I drove home from Richmond, and it's worse here than up there," said Nathan Bulling who came home to his children ready to play in the snow. "That's what it's all about."
Road crews spent the evening putting salt on the roads to help keep the road from freezing overnight, but that may be impossible as temperatures are forecasted to dip into the low teens.
