South Park Biz Center in Winston-Salem robbed

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police are investigating after South Park Biz Center was robbed Tuesday night.

Police responded at about 9:30 p.m. to the business at 1219 W. Clemmonsville Road.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the suspect entered the business, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.  The clerk then placed an undetermined amount of money in a bag that was provided by the suspect.

The suspect then left the area in an unknown direction by an unknown method of travel.

No one was injured during the incident, including several customers who were inside the business at the time.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately six feet tall with a thin build, in his mid- to late-20s, with a thin beard, wearing a multi-colored toboggan, a light colored zip-up hoodie, jeans, and possibly black-and-yellow tennis shoes.
