Someone paid for firefighters’ groceries while they went on emergency run

INDEPENDENCE, Ky. — Firefighters from one Kentucky town were surprised to find that someone paid for their cart full of groceries recently.

The firefighters had to leave their shopping cart at the grocery store to go on an emergency run. When they returned, someone had paid for their food.

The kind stranger left a note that read “Thank you for all you do.”
