Some Greensboro spraygrounds to charge fee for groups

Families will have the opportunity to cool off at the Barber Park sprayground in Greensboro for free all summer, but large groups will have to pay.

The Greensboro Park and Recreation Department will starting charging a $20 fee for large groups like daycares, churches and businesses.

The charges will apply to the sprayground at Keely Park, as well.

Both spraygrounds are open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
