GREENSBORO, N.C. — A big party is coming to the city this spring.
Its featured guest: a 1,000-foot water slide.
Slide the City, a traveling water slide, will stop in downtown Greensboro on May 21, according to its website and a spokeswoman for the event. A similar event in Raleigh is scheduled for June 11.
Slide the City promotes itself as a family-friendly water party. Its owners started in 2014 with just two events, spokeswoman Amy Gessel said. She said Slide the City held more than 80 events in cities across the world last year, including in Raleigh.
