One dead, two injured after nightclub shooting in Pelham

PELHAM, N.C. – Caswell County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting at an area night club that left one man dead and two injured.

On Sunday, deputies responded to the Skyy Club, located at 590 Quarry Road, after receiving reports that gun shots had been fired.

According to deputies, Derrick Hairston, 34, Deshay Lamar Woods, 24,  and Jeffrey King, 23, were admitted to Danville Regional medical Center of apparent gunshot wounds. All three men were from Danville Va.

According to deputies, Derrick Hairston was pronounced deceased at Danville Regional Medical Center on Sunday.

Woods was flown to Carilion Hospital in Roanoke Va. with life threatening injuries. As of Monday, was listed in stable condition.

King was treated at Danville Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries and released.

The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office has no suspects at this time.
