WESTERLY,  R.I. — A Rhode Island man was arrested after police say he used a homemade potato gun to shoot corncobs at a neighbors house.

The Westerly Sun reports 50-year-old Jeffrey M. Osella has been arguing with his neighbor for 13 years and after an argument on Tuesday, he loaded the cobs into a potato gun and shot them at the house. The gun was made of PVC pipe and uses a light accelerant to be ignited.

After the incident, police say the man answered his front door without a shirt and corn kernels stuck to his chest.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and firing in a compact area.
