Several suspects rob pizza delivery driver in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Six suspects robbed a pizza delivery driver of money and food early Sunday morning in Greensboro, according to police.

Greensboro police said in a press release that officers were called to the incident in the 2400 block of Phillips Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

A Golden Pizza delivery driver said he was approached by six suspects when he arrived at the location, two that were armed with handguns.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and food before fleeing in different directions, according to police.

The suspects were all wearing handkerchiefs, three of which were colorful, according to police.
