WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A second armed robbery within a week was reported at another Quality Inn in Winston-Salem.
This robbery took place at the Quality Inn on Hawthorne Road early Friday morning.
The clerk told police that the suspect walked into the lobby around 1:54 a.m. and pointed a handgun demanding money. The suspect then left with an undisclosed amount of money.
This is the second armed robbery at a Quality Inn in Winston-Salem this week. On Wednesday, police say an armed robbery took place around 1:55 a.m. at the Quality Inn located at 5719 University Parkway.
The suspects have not been located in either incident.
