Winston-Salem teen located, reunited with family

Update — Aliyana Anderson has been located and reunited with her family.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A search is underway for a Winston-Salem teen who went missing during a family cookout on Monday.

Aliyana Debrae Anderson, 16, was attending a family cookout on Brownsboro Road when she went missing just after 7 p.m.

She was last seen on foot in the 4200 block of Brownsboro Road.

Anderson is described as being approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds.

Police said when Anderson was last seen she had waist-length braids.

Anderson was wearing a yellow T-shirt with “Truck Fit” written in black, light-colored jeans, and white, black and pink Nike Jordans. She also wears glasses.
