SC man missing from cruise ship near Bahamas

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. — A South Carolina man was reported missing early Sunday morning from the Bahamas Celebration cruise ship.

According to WPBF, witnesses told investigators that James Miller, 30, jumped over the railing and into the water.

He was reported missing around 2 a.m. Sunday.

The ship had just left Freeport in the Bahamas and was returning to Riviera Beach, Fla.

The crew searched the area until the Coast Guard arrived and took over the search.

The Coast Guard is continuing to search for Miller.
