ROCKWELL, N.C. — A Salisbury man was arrested Sunday night after attempting to shoot his ex-girlfriend and her friends with a bow and arrow.

According to WBTV, 46-year-old Jody Edgar Hall began threatening the women, pointing the weapon at them and attempting to force his way into the front door.

After the initial altercation, the ex-girlfriend and her two friends began to run toward a bedroom, when Hall shot an arrow through the window, authorities said. The arrow stuck into the wall and 911 was called.

Upon arrival, the deputies began investigating, but could not find Hall until he again attempted to make contact with his ex-girlfriend.

911 was dispatched and deputies were able to arrest him.

Hall was taken to jail and charged with three counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and three counts of first-degree burglary. He’s under a $500,000 bond.
