Rockingham Co. teen has perfect attendance from K-12

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. — A 2012 graduate of McMichael High School has never missed a day of school in her life. 

Lindsay Tucker, who was among 900 other Rockingham County Schools graduates, was recognized at a recent Board of Education meeting for the perfect attendance she maintained through her entire school career. 

“For 2,340 total days, from kindergarten through 12th grade, Lindsay never missed a day of school,” RCS spokeswoman Karen Hyler said in a news release.
