BESSEMER CITY, N.C. — Bessemer City Police are looking for a man they said robbed a CVS Wednesday night while wearing a Halloween mask.

According to WSOC, the man walked in the front door of the CVS shortly before 8:30 p.m., pulled a gun on employees at the registers and demanded money.

“There were some costumers in the back of the store at the pharmacy,” Bessemer City Police Investigator David Jame told WSOC.

He said none were hurt, but they gave him the money and the man walked out.

“We called a K-9 in. The K-9 tracked for a short distance and lost the trail, so we really don’t know if maybe he had a car waiting,” James said.

Police said the suspect had on a Halloween mask, jeans and a hoodie.

Officials said they know the robber is a white man because he did not wear gloves.
