BURLINGTON, N.C. — The Alamance County Republican Party headquarters was vandalized Friday morning.

Chairman Ben York said he found out about the vandalism at 9:30 a.m. after volunteers stumbled across it while dropping off boxes.

Photos acquired by FOX8 show the word Republican in Alamance County Republican Party headquarters spray-painted black, the words, “F*** Trump YESSIR” written on a wall outside, and “NA” spray-painted on the front door.

This is the second time in less than a month that a Republican Party headquarters in North Carolina has been vandalized. On Oct. 16, the Republican Party headquarters in Hillsborough was vandalized with graffiti and damaged with a flammable material thrown through the front window.

North Carolina Congressman Mark Walker released a statement on the vandalism Friday afternoon.

This marks the second crime of this nature in my district within a month. First the firebombing at the Orange County GOP and then similar graffiti profanity again here at the Alamance GOP offices. One of life’s greatest opportunities is to bring healing when you’ve been treated unfairly or wronged. These words of hate create an opportunity for us to serve one another, be hands and feet for this community, and to do so with grateful hearts. We are incredibly blessed to live in a country where we may live and work in accordance to our peacefully held beliefs without fear of encountering violence.

York said there is surveillance video and the investigation is ongoing.
