BURLINGTON, N.C. -- For the next two months, dozens of Burlington streets will be detoured and under construction.

It's all part of the city's annual repaving project.

About seven miles of side streets off of main roads are on the list to be repaved.

More than 40 streets will be repaved during the two month period.

Manholes and water valves are already being replaced on the side streets and the repaving will begin Monday.

Repaving will begin on the eastern most roads and work westward through the city.
