GREENSBORO, N.C. — U.S. Rep. Howard Coble (R-NC) is set to end his hospital treatment after one more overnight stay, according to a news release from Coble’s office.
Coble is expected to be released Tuesday from Moses Cone Hospital, where the 80-year-old representative has been recovering from an upper-respiratory infection. The infection had depleted Coble’s sodium levels.
Coble was transferred to the Greensboro hospital on Dec. 21 after spending eight days at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Coble is expected to speak directly to the media from the Congressional Office in Greensboro on Wednesday afternoon to discuss his hospitalization.
