Randolph County to elect new superintendent next week

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C.– Randolph County Schools will elect a new superintendent next week during a special meeting.

The Randolph County Board of Education will meet on Tuesday at 2 p.m. for a closed session, then vote on a candidate during an open session.

The new superintendent will replace Donald Andrews who is leaving the post in June.

Officials have been searching for his replacement since he announced his retirement in September.
