Randolph Arts Guild features local sculptor’s works

ASHEBORO, N.C. —  Randolph Arts Guild will host an exhibition featuring works of a Randleman’ sculptor in July.

Joseph Sand’s was initially trained at the University of Minnesota, has studied in Italy, and England, and alongside many prolific potters, including Svend Bayer and Clive Bowen.

Sand’s work combines traditional and East Asian designs which is implemented in the vases, planters and functional tableware he crafts. 

The exhibit will open to the public, on July 10th, at the Sara Smith Self Gallery in Asheboro.His works will be on display through July 26.

Admission is free.
