RALEIGH, N.C. — Beyonce’s controversial Super Bowl halftime performance impressed some, but enraged others.

During the Feb. 7 show, she saluted the Black Panthers in a military-inspired leather jacket with a fleet of backup dancers donning boots and berets.

Some have called the performance “anti-police” and “pro-violence,” and it could impact her upcoming concert in the Triangle.
