Rain in parking lot delays opening of fair in Davidson County; admission price dropped

LEXINGTON, N.C. — The Davidson County Agricultural Fair will have a delayed opening at 2 p.m. Saturday as most the parking lot is under water.

The Lexington Dispatch reported that admission for adults will be dropped from $7 to $5 and students’ rate will be reduced from $2 to $1.

It will cost $15 per person to ride all the rides, according to the paper. Saturday is the fair’s last day. The event is located at 400 Greensboro St. in Lexington.
