Purina has issued a voluntary recall of some 10-oz tubs of wet dog food because they do not contain the recommended levels of vitamins and minerals, according to WPIX.

The recall includes Beneful Prepared Meals, Beneful Chopped Blends and Pro Plan Savory Meals brands of food.

Purina said pet owners should throw out any products with a “best before” date ranging from June 2017 to August 2017.

The company is working to correct the issue and get the products back on store shelves as soon as possible.

To request a refund pet owners can call 1-800-877-7919.
