CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Mecklenburg County school nurse supervisor accused of trying to hire someone to kill her ex-husband tried to do it once before, according to new court documents filed by the prosecution.

A grand jury indicted Fathia-Anna Davis in March on charges of racketeering murder and solicitation to commit a crime of violence.

A motion filed by prosecutors Friday claims that Davis also attempted to hire a hit man to kill her then-husband two years ago “but the hit man wanted to have sex with her and the deal was broken.”

The motion also claims Davis tried to poison her husband in October 2009. Prosecutors said a neighbor called 911 after seeing the family’s dogs running loose in the neighborhood.
