Professional clowns coming to Greensboro libraries

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro’s public library plans to bring in some professional clowns Wednesday as part of a program offered by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey with area libraries.

The Greensboro News & Record reported that children ages 2 to 12 can enroll in the program with a librarian and receive circus tickets for finishing their reading.

The clowns plan to be at Greensboro Central Library at 219 N. Church St. at 11 a.m., Benjamin Branch Library at 1530 Benjamin Parkway from 1 to 2 p.m. and McGirt-Horton Branch Library at 2501 Phillips Ave. from 3 to 4 p.m.
