CHICAGO — A pregnant college student was sexually assaulted and then forced into a trunk in Chicago’s Rosemoor neighborhood in broad daylight Wednesday, reported WGN.

The 24-year-old victim’s father says she was on her lunch break in between classes at Chicago State where she is a criminal justice student. She stopped by 98th and Indiana to visit a relative.

She was getting books out of her trunk, when a man approached her with a knife, and forced her back inside the vehicle.

The man made her drive around the corner to an alley near 99th and Indiana, where he sexually assaulted her then forced her into the trunk of her own car.

She got out of the trunk and was taken to the hospital. Her father says the baby was checked out and is doing just fine. The woman is now resting at home.

That attacker also stole $160 from the woman’s purse and is still on the loose.
