GASTONIA, N.C. — A pregnant Kings Mountain woman, who was killed in a wreck earlier this week, recently recorded a heartfelt tribute to her husband.

In the video Samantha Kay Thomas said, “I just want to tell you how much I love you, how grateful I am that you are in my life and how excited I am to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Her husband, Cornell Thomas, said he and his wife were expecting another child, already named Elijah.

The 34-year-old was killed Monday when a Cadillac STS, driven by Julius Dalpiaz, 83, pulled in front of her car on West Garrison Boulevard at South Vance Street.
