Man wearing pajama pants robs woman at McDonald’s in Rural Hall

RURAL HALL, N.C. — Police are looking for a suspect accused of robbing a woman at gunpoint in a McDonald’s restaurant parking lot Sunday afternoon in Rural Hall.

The victim told police she was approached by an armed man demanding money around 2 p.m. outside the chain at 1040 Bethania-Rural Hall Road.

Police said the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.

Witnesses told police he entered the woods behind the NC DMV business and got into a white vehicle in a nearby neighborhood and drove toward Bethania-Rural Hall Road.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid 20s, wearing dark colored pajama pants with dark colored make-up on his face.
