1 killed in shooting at Tennessee armory


Authorities are looking for a suspect after a shooting incident Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at a National Guard Armory in Tennessee, two mayors told CNN. Lobelbille Mayor Robby Moore said there was a man on the run after the incident, which occurred at an armory between the towns of Linden and Lobelville.

NASHVILLE (WSMV) — Police are searching for the gunman after one person was killed in a shooting at the National Guard Armory in Perry County on Wednesday.

The armory is on Highway 13 at Highway 438, which is in between Linden and Lobelville.

City officials are urging residents in the area to stay inside and lock their doors as police search for the shooter.

Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are heading to the scene.
