Police search for man who robbed Greensboro gas station

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Officers responded to the Kangaroo Express gas station, 2522 Randleman Road, around 9:30 p.m.

The clerk stated that a suspect entered the store, produced a handgun and demanded the clerk give him money.

The clerk gave an undetermined amount of money and the suspect fled down Creek Ridge Road towards Lynhaven Drive.

The suspect was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, thin, early to late 30s. He was seen wearing a black coat over a dark blue hoodie, a black mask, yellow rubber gloves and faded gray jeans

His face was covered with a bandana or cloth. He was armed with a handgun of unknown type.

No one was injured.

Anyone with any additional information is asked to call Crime stoppers at 336-373-1000.

There will be a reward up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
