2 hospitalized after shooting in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police responded to a shooting in Greensboro on Monday evening.

According to police, the shooting happened near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Randolph Avenue.

The shooting was reported shortly before 8 p.m.

Two people suffered gunshot wounds and were transported in personal vehicles to Moses Cone Hospital for treatment.

Police say the shooting happened over some type of altercation.

It is unclear how severe the victims' injuries are.
