Police identify victims in double homicide on Lovett Street in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The two men who were fatally shot on Lovett Street Thursday night have been identified as Jesus Baxin-Chigo, 29, and Faustino Chigo-Catemaxca, also 29 years of age.

An acquaintance of the two men discovered them with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle parked in the driveway of Chigo-Catemaxca’s home located at 1500 block of Lovett Street at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Both were transported to Moses Cone Hospital for treatment, but later died from their injuries.

Police are still investigating this incident.

There's no suspect information at this time. Police said the results of autopsies scheduled for Saturday may provide additional leads in the case.
