GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police have released surveillance images of a man accused of breaking into a gas station and stealing cigarettes.

Police said the suspect broke into the Marathon at 4311 Hicone Road around 2:30 a.m. Thursday and took several cartons before leaving on foot.

Police did not provide a written description, but the suspect is pictured above. Authorities did not say how many cartons of cigarettes were stolen.

Anyone with any information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect can call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000 or text keyword BADBOYZ and your tip to 274637.

Officials said callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash prize of up to $2,000.
