Man injured in shooting at Greensboro apartment complex

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 22-year-old man was injured in a shooting at a Greensboro apartment complex early Friday.

According to police, officers responded shortly before 3:15 a.m. to a report of shots fired at the Hunters Chase Apartment complex at 4600 Big Tree Way.

Officers forced entry into Zachary Wilson Odell’s apartment and found him suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken by EMS to Moses Cone Hospital where he underwent surgery and is currently listed in stable condition.

Police believe the victim had a connection with the suspects, however no further information was provided.
