CLEMMONS, N.C. — Police are investigating a robbery at a State Employee’s Credit Union on Thursday afternoon.
Officers responded to the State Employee’s Credit Union, located at 1025 South Peace Haven Road, shortly after 12:30 p.m. in reference to a reported robbery.
Witnesses said a suspect entered the Credit Union and produced a note demanding money. A weapon was not displayed.
The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was described as a black female in her 20s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slender build, wearing a yellow jacket, black hat and carrying a book bag at the time of the incident.
