Police investigating High Point homicide

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Police are investigating a shooting on Burton Ave. that left one man dead on Saturday.

Officers responded to 1109 Burton Ave. and found Jauhan Bethea, 34, in the front yard bleeding from a gunshot wound to the head.

Bethea was taken to the hospital where he died from his injury, according to police

There is no word on suspects at this time.

The investigation is on-going.
