CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a father shot and killed his son in a Charlotte neighborhood Thursday morning.
The shooting happened in a home at 3157 Fairfax Drive in the Myers Park neighborhood.
According to WSOC-TV, the suspect called 911 shortly before 8:45 a.m., telling dispatchers that he had shot his son.
Responding officers arrived to find the victim on the front lawn of the home. He died at the scene.
The suspect was arrested at the scene.
No other details have been released.
