Police arrest six in High Point armored truck robbery

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police arrested six men Wednesday morning in connection with the armed robbery of a Brink’s truck in July.

Investigators say the men robbed the truck at the Suntrust Bank on Easter Drive on July 24 during an attempted currency delivery.

High Point Police arrested Hassan Ali, 25, John Griffin, 19, Kelvin Jacobs, 24, Hassan Hassan, 21, Rodney Frazier Jr., 25 and Ahmed Ali, 26 early Wednesday morning in Greensboro and High Point after a three-week long investigation.

The six suspects have been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery. Each is being held in Guilford County Jail on $1 million bond.

Greensboro Police, Guilford County Sheriff’s Department, ATF, FBI and the U.S. Marshall’s Service assisted in the investigation.
