WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.–Hundreds turned out for the Piedmont 300 National Truck and Tractor Pull in Winston-Salem Friday night.

Participants hooked their trucks and trailors up to giant weight sleds and pulled them down the track. When more than one machine is able to finish the track, more weight is added until only one machine comes out on top.

And it isn’t as easy as it looks! Those weight sleds are built so that they get harder to pull the farther they are dragged.
