Person stabbed several times, seriously injured in Greensboro; suspect in custody

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A person was hospitalized after being stabbed several times, according to Lt. S.R. Mardis with Greensboro police.

At 5:33 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the 1200 block of Lanada Road in reference to a disorder call.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from several stab wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Mardis said.

Greensboro police apprehended the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Brandon Lamont Lindsay, of Greensboro. Mardis said the investigation is still ongoing.

Lindsay and the victim were acquaintances, according to Greensboro police.
