GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are investigating after a person was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound.

Officers were called to the 700 block of Julian Street at about 11:47 p.m. Friday in reference to shots fired.

Greensboro police found the victim, who emergency workers took to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Police have not released the victim’s name, any suspect information or details surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
