Pedestrian killed in Graham hit-and-run accident

GRAHAM, N.C. -- A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Graham early Tuesday morning, according to police.

Graham police say Dominic Kyle Davis, 34, of Haw River, was walking in the middle of Jimmie Kerr Road near Trollingwood Road at 12:22 a.m.

Investigators say he was first struck by a vehicle traveling north, the driver of that vehicle stopped to help. A second vehicle traveling south hit Davis again but kept going, said police. The driver of the first vehicle will not face any charges.

Davis, who investigators say may have been drinking, died as a result of injuries sustained.
