PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A strange looking photo of a school lunch served at an elementary school near the Virginia, North Carolina line is going viral.

WAVY reported that the meal in the photo was served Tuesday to a student at James Hurst Elementary in Portsmouth, Va. A student’s mother reportedly took the picture.

The mother posted the photo to social media, and several people have reportedly reached out to local news stations.

The photo apparently shows a fish filet with a bun on top and some cooked corn. Spicy Cajun fish was listed as one of the meals on the menu that day.

The school has said they are concerned about the photo. An official also said poor lighting and food presentation made the meal unappealing and that the food served meets nutritional health requirements.
